About Me
Hello! My name is Emely Barahona. I am a senior at Queens University of Charlotte studying Philosophy and Marketing. As a campus leader I have been involved in Student Government, the Latin American Student Organization, and Greek Life. Through these experiences I have been able to cultivate leadership, communication, and management skills.
All those skills have allowed me to secure an internship position at Road to Hire, a non-profit by Red Ventures, a customer service position for the Childress Klein YMCA, a digital marketing internship with The Dean’s List. I was also awarded "Campus Leader of the Year" for the 2019-2020 academic school year.
Currently, I am the Latinx Community Engagement Intern/ Spanish Content Creation Intern for The Dean’s List in which I create Instagram posts in Spanish as well as look for ways to engage with the Charlotte Latinx Community.
I am a driven, creative, leader who strives for my platform to show who I am and what I believe in. I am passionate about leadership, creativity, fitness, social justice, and pineapple on pizza. As a content creator, I aim to ignite conversation, engage my digital audience, and build confidence. As I approach graduation, I hope to pursue my interest in social media and content creation. I am so glad you are here and willing to learn more about me!
