Hello! My name is Emely Barahona. I am a senior at Queens University of Charlotte studying Philosophy and Marketing. As a campus leader I have been involved in Student Government, the Latin American Student Organization, and Greek Life. Through these experiences, I have been able to cultivate leadership, communication, and management skills.
All those skills have allowed me to secure an internship position at Road to Hire, a non-profit by Red Ventures; a customer service position for the Childress Klein YMCA; a digital marketing internship with The Dean’s List; and an alumni relations internship for Queens University of Charlotte. I was also awarded "Campus Leader of the Year" for the 2019-2020 academic school year.
Currently, I am a part-time educator at Lululemon and I am also an intern for the Alumni Relations office at the Queens University of Charlotte. Even though I am working primarily from home, I enjoy the challenge of navigating through a virtual world.
I am a driven, creative, leader who strives for my platform to show who I am and what I believe in. I am passionate about leadership, creativity, weightlifting, social justice, and pineapple on pizza. As a content creator, I aim to ignite conversation, engage my digital audience, and build confidence. As I approach graduation, I hope to solidify my interests and pursue a career that I absolutely love. Whether that be in digital marketing, content creation, or human relations.
