LEAD WITH CREATIVITY
Hello! My name is Emely Barahona. I am a senior at Queens University of Charlotte studying Philosophy and Marketing. As a campus leader I have been involved in Student Government, the Latin American Student Organization, and Greek Life. Through these experiences, I have been able to cultivate leadership, communication, and management skills.
All those skills have allowed me to secure an internship position at Road to Hire, a non-profit by Red Ventures; a customer service position for the Childress Klein YMCA; a digital marketing internship with The Dean’s List; and an alumni relations internship for Queens University of Charlotte. I was also awarded "Campus Leader of the Year" for the 2019-2020 academic school year.
Currently, I am a part-time educator at Lululemon. I am able to work with over a hundred guests in a week and work in a fast-paced environment. Throughout the past year, I have been able to be adaptable and face challenges with positivity.
I am a driven, creative, leader who strives for my platform to show who I am and what I believe in. I am passionate about leadership, creativity, powerlifting, social justice, and pineapple on pizza. As a content creator, I aim to ignite conversation, engage my digital audience, and build confidence.
After graduating in May of 2021, I am continuing my work with Lululemon until the end of August. Starting in September I will be taking on w new and exciting opportunity in Madrid, Spain where I will be teaching English through the CIEE language assistant program.
